The move marks a major milestone for the franchise business as its team expands to 18 staff and continues to build momentum across Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian, and surrounding areas.

The new office, located at 16-1 Timber Bush, Leith, EH6 6QH, brings the combined Stockbridge and Leith teams under one roof. Northwood will continue to operate a smaller staff presence from its Stockbridge office, maintaining visibility on the area’s busy high street, with team members rotating to support clients locally.

Lewis Mallen, managing director of Northwood Edinburgh, said: “We’ve now outgrown both of our existing offices, so moving into a larger space in Leith allows us to bring the team together under one roof, which is a big step forward for our team ethos.

“Having everyone in one place helps us build on the positive momentum we’ve created, while also making it easier for contractors and partners to work with us. Leith is a vibrant, well-connected part of the city, and it feels like the right fit for where we are as a business.

One of the key driving factors of Northwood Edinburgh’s recent expansion has been the development of its estate agency sales function, supported by a successful, ongoing partnership with Sales Geek Scotland, which delivers sales leadership, training, mentoring, and consultancy to businesses across the country.

“Working with Sales Geek Scotland, led by co-director Davie Sneddon, has helped us strengthen our approach to recruitment, structure and processes across the sales function,” said Lewis.

“They’ve helped us introduce clearer reporting and ways of working that have made a real difference day to day. It’s had a broader impact than we initially expected and has supported the progress we’ve made as a team.”
