Now open for entries, the awards recognise the outstanding organisations and individuals making a real difference in communities across Scotland.

With 11 diverse categories, the programme highlights achievements across the sector including:

• Environmental Social Enterprise
• Building Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Justice
• Health and Social Care
• Tech for Good
• IDBM Community Wealth Building
• Buy Social Scotland Market Builder
• Social Enterprise Employee Champion
• Social Enterprise Volunteer Champion
• The new People’s Choice Award, which will be decided by public vote from among all shortlisted finalists.

In response to sector feedback, major improvements have been made to the application process this year to make it more inclusive and accessible:

Applicants can now answer key questions using video or voice clips, offering more flexibility in how they share their stories.

The form has been streamlined, to focus what matters most, reducing the time needed to apply.

All applications will be processed through the new Awards Force platform, providing a smoother and more user-friendly experience.

“Scotland’s social enterprises continue to lead the way in addressing some of society’s biggest challenges, and we know that innovation and impact come in many forms. We want our awards to reflect the full diversity of our community. By simplifying the process and introducing new ways to apply, we’re removing barriers and making space for even more voices to be heard.

Applications are open now, with a closing date of 10am on Monday 7 July. Social enterprises of all types and sizes are encouraged to apply and share their stories and achievements.
