The annual TPAS Scotland National Good Practice Awards (NGPA Awards) celebrate excellence in tenant participation, community engagement, and social housing management in Scotland.

These awards are now open and recognise tenants, community groups, and landlords across Scotland who demonstrate outstanding work in shaping services, digital involvement, and community empowerment.

Winner of last year’s Tenant of the Year – the Alan Ferguson Award, Liz McKnockiter from Moray Council’s Tenants’ Forum, said: “Winning the Tenant of the Year Award at the TPAS Scotland National Good Practice Awards last year was such an honour.

“Getting tenants involved in Moray Council to ensure they have their say in things has been a real passion of mine and we are definitely making real progress, so it is fabulous that this was recognised through the Awards.  Good luck to everyone entering in 2026!”

There are 10 categories recognising the great work taking place by individuals, tenant groups, organisations and communities across Scotland.  This includes three brand new categories for 2026 - Young Person in Tenant Participation, Tenant Participation Officer of the Year and Creativity in Tenant Participation.
