Tributes paid to former Fyne Homes committee member Robert Reid

Robert Reid, who has died aged 92, has been remembered as a “towering figure” to the Bute community.
Born in Campbeltown in 1932, Reid served for over 60 years on the committee of Fyne Homes Housing Association.
Among his many public appointments was Justice of the Peace and councillor for Bute District Council and Argyll and Bute District Council. He also chaired several of the council committees and served on the local authority body COSLA.
