It is with deep sadness that Caledonia Housing Association has shared the news of the sudden passing of its much-loved colleague and friend, Grant Kaye, who died recently following a short illness.

Grant joined Caledonia Housing Association in January 2014 and served as a valued and dedicated manager of its Assets team for more than a decade. As a colleague and line manager, Grant was known for his quiet dependability, calm professionalism, and unwavering support for others. He was widely respected across the organisation and admired by his team.

Grant brought a wealth of knowledge and a steady hand to his role, helping to shape and deliver key areas of Caledonia’s asset management service. His thoughtful nature, dry sense of humour, and team spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of working with him.

Julie Cosgrove, chief executive of Caledonia Housing Association, said: “Grant was not only an incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated professional, but also a kind, thoughtful and generous colleague. He led with strength and purpose and always had time for others. Grant had a lead role at Caledonia over many years overseeing investment and improvements in our tenants’ homes.

“He cared passionately about the lives of our tenants and providing quality homes. Grant will be deeply missed by everyone at Caledonia, and his legacy will live on in the work he helped shape and the people he supported.”

Grant is survived by his partner Louise and their children, Ellie and Ethan.

A spokesperson at Caledonia said: “We have been in contact with Grant’s family to express our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies on behalf of all staff and board members at Caledonia. We know he will also be warmly remembered by many friends across the wider housing sector.”

Grant’s family have shared that his funeral will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday 24th July at Auchterarder Parish Church, followed by interment at Auchterarder Cemetery. A reception will be held afterwards at Auchterarder Golf Club, and all are welcome to attend to pay their respects and celebrate Grant’s life.
