Trust appoints Ian Davie as new director of assets & sustainability
Ian Davie
Trust Housing has unveiled Ian Davie as its new director of assets & sustainability.
Ian will officially assume the role at the end of March when Jackie McIntosh steps up to chief executive following Rhona McLeod’s upcoming retirement.
Currently Trust’s head of development & asset strategy, Ian brings extensive leadership experience from his current role and from previous senior positions held in and out of the social housing sector. As a member of Trust’s executive team, Ian will bring a strong track record in asset and wider strategy, collaboration and partnerships, and building positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
During his four years at Trust, Ian has been instrumental in enhancing the organisation’s new build, energy and net zero capabilities, and delivering 225 new affordable homes across Scotland.
He has also led on the later living re-modelling programme - repurposing many previously low demand and empty properties into homes that meet customer aspirations and needs - and taken Trust significantly forward on its net zero journey, including the delivery of major energy efficiency programmes across Skye, Arran and the wider portfolio.
Rhona McLeod, chief executive, said: “Ian’s track record, commitment and vision make him an exceptional fit for this role. He will be a great addition to the executive team as we move towards a new chapter for Trust under Jackie’s leadership.
“The recent appointments of Jackie and Ian reflect the high calibre of leadership talent across Trust and our commitment to growing our own.”
