CIH Level 4 in Managing Housing Maintenance – January
Who’s it for and what’s it about?
This course is designed for those housing professionals who are seeking or are currently employed within either a management or senior technical role. It is aimed at those who are responsible for managing repairs budgets and contributing to management reports, those that already have either the level 3 qualification or have experience of working in a supervisory or management role in housing maintenance.
The course will focus on the knowledge required to successfully deliver a repairs and maintenance programme within a housing association including financial management, procurement, the legal framework for repair and maintenance and performance management for a responsive repairs service.
Course content
• To provide learners with a technical knowledge and understanding
• Understanding of housing practice at a management level
• Explore areas of housing policy and law
• Develop skills and knowledge for the current challenges in housing and asset management
• To prepare learners for future study (learners may progress to Level 5 Diploma)
