Housing associations in a nutshell – an introduction

Who is it for and what is it about?

This session will provide an introduction to the development process. It will consider the steps required to plan and execute a new build or investment programme, an overview of the funding mechanisms for these, the regulation and risks involved in this, and the sustainability principles that will guide new projects.

Delegates will learn what papers they should receive when development works are ongoing, what common pitfalls to be mindful of and how important their role in scrutinising development works is to the overall success of the projects.
