The IATP Approved Asbestos Awareness session has been designed to be split into three ‘toolbox’ sessions so it’s easy for delegates to digest the information.

The course follows the overall IATP syllabus and we have been approved to deliver the training in this way:
    • Session 1 – Asbestos properties, history of use and health effects.
    • Session 2 – The types, uses and likely occurrence of asbestos and asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) in buildings.
    • Session 3 – The main statutory provisions that relate to asbestos, how to avoid the risks and understanding the correct procedures to follow in an emergency.
