Share Management Development Programme (Full Programme)

Who’s it for and what’s it about?

The Share management programme will provide those new to management or aspiring managers in the housing sector the tools and techniques to lead a team or organisation at a senior level. Ideally you will be ready to step up to a new role at a more senior level or are looking to enhance your current management skills within your management role. The programme will span over seven months, during which attendees will attend a day release learning activity monthly to continue to build knowledge and skills and to transfer that learning into the workplace.

Attendees will also benefit from one-to-one meetings with their housing mentor who will be there to support them on to the next level in their careers. Mentors will be senior leaders from across the sector. Each delegate on the programme will be carefully matched up with a mentor who best suits their career goals.

The key aims of this programme are to support the development of junior managers or those aspiring to become the manager of tomorrow within the social housing sector. As such, this course will cover standard management practices required for senior managers as well as more specialist topics relevant to management with the social housing sector.

The Share Management Development Programme also has the benefit of being an approved Institute of Leadership programme which will give learners access to a suite of leadership and management resources via their online portal, and upon completion of this course participants will receive membership and a certificate upon completion of the programme from the institute of leadership and management.

Course Content

Participants on the programme will be taken through a mandatory induction, where they will complete registration forms and be introduced to the programme and their mentors.
