Join the Board of the Scottish Housing Regulator
The Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice and Housing is seeking to appoint two new Members to the Board of the Scottish Housing Regulator:
- Advert for the Tenant Position – for someone with current or recent lived experience as a social housing tenant. Appointment of Member to the Board of the Scottish Housing Regulator (Tenant Position)
- Advert for the Social Housing Sector Position – for someone with significant experience and knowledge of the social housing sector. Appointment of Member to the Board of the Scottish Housing Regulator (Social Housing Sector Position)
These are exciting opportunities to help oversee the independent regulator of social landlords in Scotland, supporting its work to safeguard tenants’ interests and improve outcomes across the sector.
We are looking for individuals who can bring strategic thinking, sound judgment and a commitment to effective governance. Board Members will contribute to important decisions affecting the future of social housing regulation in Scotland.
Information sessions are being held for each role for anyone who would like to find out more. Applications close on 26 November 2026 at 5.00pm.
