Location:  Govan, Glasgow

Hours:  35 hours per week
Salary £53,904 - £56,558 per annum 
Grade: EVH Grade 9 (SM1 – SM3)
Contract: Permanent

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will play a key role in leading and managing the Corporate Services Department to ensure we deliver an exceptional Corporate Governance service. Taking a lead role, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring we drive forward positive practice including exceeding the current regulatory framework, achieving the various regulatory compliance obligations of the association and encouraging positive practice in governance and leadership within the Management Committee and with employees.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering an effective and high quality governance process within an organisation, working with boards and committees, developing high quality policies and skilled in the collation of performance or other statistical reports and information.

We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills, reporting writing skills and who has an excellent understanding of governance, regulation, legislation and company secretarial best practice along with a detailed knowledge of the Scottish Housing Regulator’s Regulatory Framework with a knowledge of FOI, GDPR, OSCR etc.
