The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer focused and organised Housing Officer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the effective operational delivery of a range of high quality housing management services for our tenants and other customers in line with our culture, vision and values. These services include the management of rent accounts, void properties and housing allocations as well as tenancy and estate management responsibilities.

The key elements of the post are:

  • The provision and delivery of key housing management services to our tenants, housing applicants and other customers.
  • To actively participate as a member of our Housing Services Team in maintaining, developing and improving our housing management functions.
  • To ensure the effective administration of all aspects of our service delivery activities.
  • Ensuring that we offer support to our tenants to sustain their tenancies and enabling them to live well in their communities.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of services by identifying opportunities for enhancement and supporting the implementation of improvements to processes and procedures.

This role will see you take on responsibility for an area based ‘patch’ of our homes and ensure the delivery of a great housing and tenancy management services which put tenants at the heart of what we do. Operating within a strong performance and value for money culture you will be proactive in engaging with our tenants to provide support, advice and assistance to ensure that tenancies are sustained, tenants enjoy living within our communities and service delivery standards are achieved.

We’re looking for someone with strong all-round experience of successfully delivering high quality housing management services. You will be an effective communicator with a customer focused approach. You must also work well within a team and have the ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads. If you enjoy working with others, providing great customer service, and keeping things organised, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We also offer hybrid working arrangements, providing flexibility between home and office working.
