Crummock (Scotland) Limited

Multi-disciplinary construction company Crummock has gone into receivership with the loss of 287 jobs. Employees at the firm, based near Bonnyrigg in Midlothian, were informed on Friday that cash flow problems had led to claims from creditors.

Crummock (Scotland) Limited is experiencing significant growth in 2017-2018. Turnover to March 2017 was near £24 million and the civil engineering company expects turnover to March 2018 to be around £34m. Managing director Derek Hogg, credits this growth in part to the company’s business strateg
