National Islands Plan

Island communities are set to benefit from a new plan to improve housing and healthcare, alongside efforts to grow the economy and increase the number of people living on Scotland’s islands.

The communities of Arran and Cumbrae are being invited to have their say on the current National Islands Plan. Scotland’s first ever National Islands Plan was published in 2019 and is now being reviewed, potentially leading to the publication of an updated Islands Plan.
