Important quality kitemark for Osprey

Members of Osprey’s Colleague Council celebrate the new award

The Osprey Housing Group has achieved the prestigious Investors in People Silver Accreditation, the most successful framework for business improvement through people in the UK.

This is the second time the organisation has been accredited and marks a considerable achievement for the staff at its Westhill office in Aberdeenshire and Lossiemouth office in Moray.

The award represents a true commitment to employees and demonstrates a solid foundation of good practice, which remains challenging and aspirational for many organisations.

Osprey chief executive, Glenn Adcook, said: “I’m delighted Osprey has received this award. This is a statement about how we engage with, treat and value not just our staff, but all our stakeholders. The process has involved significant input from our Colleague Council, which is made up of staff from different teams across the Group, so it’s something that is demonstrably important to everyone.”

The award is seen as an important way to attract and retain talented staff and IIP accreditation has been achieved by 14,000 organisations in 75 different countries around the world.

Peter Russian, chief executive of Remarkable, the home for Investors in People in Scotland, said: “This is a fantastic achievement for Osprey Housing. I would like to congratulate the organisation and its people on their commitment to continuous improvement. Investors in People offers a flexible, practical and easy to use business improvement tool designed to help organisations and their people achieve their objectives. I hope that more organisations in the area will be encouraged to sharpen their competitive edge by choosing to work with us.”
