Arden Property Management marks 20 years in business

Arden Property Management is officially celebrating two decades of supporting landlords and tenants across Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Founded in 2006, the independent letting agency has successfully let more than 10,500 properties and built a strong reputation for trusted service in a highly competitive market.

The milestone comes during a landmark year for the business, following its recent acquisition of Smart Property’s lettings division and recognition at the prestigious ESTAS Awards, where Arden received the ‘Best in Postcode Award’ and is shortlisted for further national recognition later this year.

Arden has continued to grow while remaining firmly committed to the values it was built on, strong relationships, responsive service and hands-on support for both landlords and tenants.

Catriona Smith, senior partner at Arden, said: “Starting Arden in 2006, I could never have imagined the business would grow into what it is today. Reaching 20 years is an incredibly proud moment for our team, and a real reflection of the relationships we’ve built with our clients over the years.

“If the last two decades have taught us anything, it’s that people value honesty, communication and a genuinely personal service. That approach has always been at the heart of Arden and continues to guide everything we do as we grow.

“To be recognised with the Best in Postcode Award from The ESTAS, while also celebrating this milestone year, makes it even more special for the whole team.”

To commemorate its 20th year, Arden Property Management has also launched its ‘20 Acts of Goodness’ initiative, a year-long programme of fundraising, volunteering and community support activities designed to give back to the city and communities that have supported the business over the past two decades.

Most recently, the team took part in the SCAA Stadium Takeover in support of Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance, raising over £1,500 for the charity. The business has also partnered with local organisations including Edinburgh Four Square and Goodies, supported national fundraising campaigns such as Red Nose Day and Cash for Kids, and is planning environmental initiatives including beach clean-ups in Portobello later this year.

The anniversary marks a significant milestone for Arden Property Management, underlining the resilience and continued success of an independent business operating within a marketplace increasingly dominated by national and regional chains.

As Arden enters its next chapter, the business remains focused on delivering the same trusted, relationship-led service that has defined the company over the last 20 years, now backed by an expanded team, broader expertise and an even stronger presence across Scotland’s lettings sector.
