Ayrshire Housing has donated wet weather gear to a Girvan youth group.

Supported by the Glendoune Community Association, the group uses the local multi-use games area (MUGA) for a wide variety of sports including basketball, football, tennis and volleyball.

In addition, they run sports activities in the local school over the winter months. Each summer, a wide range of other activities is organised from hill walking and beach scavenging to bush craft and day trips.

Rhonda Leith, Ayrshire Housing’s chair, said: “I’m delighted to give practical support to this ever active group. I hope that the jackets will be of benefit across the whole range of their activities.”
