CCG begins £1m planned maintenance workstream for Trust

CCG Asset Management, the planned maintenance division of the CCG Group, is underway with a comprehensive planned maintenance contract on behalf of Trust Housing Association spanning a number of different locations across the Central Belt.

The £1 million package will involve the installation of new kitchens, wet rooms and floor coverings to 167 later-living and amenity homes owned by Trust in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Bishopbriggs Motherwell and Newmilns in Ayrshire.

Procured through the Procurement for Housing (pfh) Scotland Framework, the project will be undertaken over a 30-week programme.

Jackie McIntosh, director of assets & sustainability, said: “We are delighted to extend our existing partnership working with CCG in our new build programme to the delivery of part of our five-year investment programme across central Scotland.

“The delivery of this part of the programme will see later living and amenity customers benefit from the installation of new contemporary kitchens and bathrooms, including new energy efficient lighting, extractor fans and showers which will help customers to reduce energy costs during these challenging economic times.”

CCG Asset Management manager, Jim Cunningham, said: “CCG Asset Management is grateful for the opportunity to work with Trust. Our dedicated site and tenant liaison teams will help ensure quality and customer service are of the highest standard at every stage of the 30-week programme and we look forward to working with Trust and their tenants over the coming months.”

PfH Scotland commercial manager, Chris McGinn, added: “PfH Scotland are delighted to be supporting Trust in the delivery of such an important project. Our frameworks ensure that our Members achieve best possible value in an efficient and compliant manner, and our end-to-end service ensures that they receive all necessary support and guidance throughout the lifetime of the contract. I look forward to working closely with both Trust and CCG during this project to ensure that the works are delivered to the highest possible standard.”

CCG is also working on behalf of Trust in Govan with the delivery of a new-build affordable housing development.

Located on Langlands Road just off Harmony Row in the busy town centre, 46 flats, tailored to meet the needs of tenants over the age of 55, are set for completion in 2024.
