Changeworks has appointed experienced finance and transformation leader Louise Page as chief financial officer (CFO).
Louise brings extensive experience across the third sector, private equity and financial services, with previous CFO roles at National Trust for Scotland, Inverleith Private Equity, Aberdein Considine and John Muir Trust.
Her experience spans strategic financial planning, organisational transformation, governance, change management, risk management and people development. Louise has also held senior roles with BlackRock and was a member of ICAS council.
Changeworks said the move will strengthen its executive leadership team as it delivers an ambitious 2025-30 strategy and works to accelerate progress towards tackling fuel poverty and decarbonising homes across the UK.
The appointment comes as demand for trusted energy advice and retrofit delivery continues to grow. With around a third of Scots living in fuel poverty and energy-inefficient homes accounting for around 20% of UK greenhouse gas emissions, Changeworks is expanding its reach through stronger partnerships, increased investment and enhanced organisational capability.
The charity has grown significantly in recent years, recording a turnover of £12.2 million in 2025-26, and is well placed to help scale its services to support more households live in affordably warm, healthy and sustainable homes.
Josiah Lockhart, chiefexecutive of Changeworks, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Louise to Changeworks at such an important time for the sector and wider external landscape. Households and communities continue to face major challenges, from fuel poverty and energy affordability to the scale of investment needed to improve homes and meet net zero ambitions.
“Louise brings a strong mix of financial leadership, transformation experience and people-centred thinking. Her expertise will be invaluable as we strengthen partnerships and maximise our impact for the people and communities we serve.”
Louise said: “Changeworks has a clear mission, a strong reputation and an important role to play in helping households and communities benefit from affordably warmer, healthier and more energy efficient homes. I’m excited to be joining the organisation at this point in its journey and look forward to working with colleagues, partners and stakeholders to support sustainable growth, invest in innovation and help scale Changeworks’ impact.”
