Charity Spotlight: £1,540 raised for Arbroath Community Trust through World Cup fundraiser
ESP Group has raised £1,540 for Arbroath Community Trust following a successful World Cup fundraising challenge organised by the team.
As part of the initiative, ESP pledged to donate £5 for every goal scored during the tournament, with 308 goals resulting in a final donation of £1,540 for the local charity.
The donation was presented to Arbroath Community Trust by members of the ESP team, with Ellis from the Trust visiting ESP Group to receive the cheque. The team members involved in making the fundraiser a success included Marlena and Claire, Deputy Operations Managers, Jack, Customer Service Advisor, and Alyson, Team Leader.
Alongside supporting the fundraising challenge, Jack and Alyson were also winners in the company sweepstake, having drawn Spain, and were rewarded with extra annual leave following the team’s success in the tournament.
ESP Group is proud to support Arbroath Community Trust and the valuable work they deliver within the local community. The donation will help contribute towards the Trust’s ongoing efforts to support and provide opportunities for people across Arbroath and the surrounding area.
The team’s fundraising efforts will continue, with ESP Group’s next challenge seeing colleagues take on the Banchory Beast in September.
