Clyde Valley Housing Association launches new corporate strategy to 2030

Clyde Valley Housing Association (CVHA) has launched a new Corporate Strategy which sets the direction for the organisation through to 2030.
CVHA said the strategy reflects a shared commitment to raising standards across every aspect of what it does, driving meaningful improvement, delivering excellence in service, and shaping stronger, more inclusive communities. It has been developed through extensive engagement with colleagues, board members, customers, and partners.
At the heart of the strategy is CVHA’s renewed purpose: A Positive Influence for Change. This purpose is underpinned by the Association’s vision of shaping a brighter future by building vibrant, inclusive communities. Demonstrating a clear expression of intent and ambition.
The strategy is built around three strategic objectives: People, Place, and Progress. These pillars reflect a strong desire to invest in individuals and teams, provide quality homes and environments, and continue evolving to meet the needs of customers and communities in a changing world.
Chief executive Carron Garmory said: “This strategy is a commitment to do better, go further, and achieve more for our customers. We currently do lots of things really well, but we want to do all things brilliantly. That’s why this strategy focuses on how we significantly improve what is already a strong foundation and a positive culture. We will continue to raise our standard of homes, communities, and services; and we will listen more to our customers and act on what they are telling us.”
The strategy is supported by CVHA’s refreshed set of values, which reflect how the organisation works and what it stands for:
- Be All About Customer
- Be Inclusive
- Be Caring
- Be Driven by Excellence
- With a woven thread throughout of Together We Make the Difference.
These values will guide every decision and action, ensuring that the customer remains firmly at the centre of CVHA’s work, while continuing to build a culture where people feel valued, supported and heard.
Financial strength continues to underpin CVHA’s plans, giving the organisation the stability and flexibility needed to invest in its homes, people and services. The strategy is further brought to life through a practical, focused Delivery Plan that ensures these ambitions are translated into real, measurable progress.
Crucially, this strategy was shaped by the voices of those who live and work within CVHA’s communities. Through a wide-ranging programme of staff sessions, customer engagement, Board discussions and partner input, the strategy reflects shared priorities and lived experience. Every voice has helped shape a vision that is grounded in reality and driven by purpose.
Clyde Valley Housing Association said it is proud to share this strategy and is excited to begin the next chapter of its journey, together with its customers, communities and colleagues.
