Dalmuir Park Housing Association has appointed Colin McCulloch as its new chief executive.

Colin moves on from the position of director of customer services at Barrhead Housing.

He will move to Damluir Park in March, to allow for a week’s handover from Anne Marie Brown.

Colin McCulloch said: “I am delighted to succeed Annie Marie as chief executive of Dalmuir Park Housing Association as she retires after such a successful career in housing. I want to thank Anne Marie for the inspiring work she has undertaken to drive forward Dalmuir Park HA, and to deliver vital services to the local community.

“Anne Marie leaves a legacy that will be hard to beat, with the Association again in a strong place and well placed to pursue new opportunities.

“I am excited to join DPHA in this new chapter of their story and can’t wait to see where we can go next as we approach our 50th birthday.”

Gavin Waddell, chair of the board, said: “Anne Marie has provided committed leadership to Dalmuir Park Housing Association, and the board thanks her for the contribution she has made to the organisation.

“As Anne Marie moves on, we are pleased to appoint Colin McCulloch, whose experience, values-driven approach, and understanding of the sector position him well to lead DPHA forward. The board is confident in his appointment and looks forward to working with him.”

Richard Fairley, head of people and culture, added: “Anne Marie has led DPHA with dedication and steadiness, and her contribution over the years has left a positive mark on the organisation. We wish her every happiness in the next chapter.

“In appointing our new chief executive, we were seeking someone who truly understands the strength of community‑based housing associations and who shares our passion for delivering services rooted in local need. In that context, Colin really distinguished himself. His focus on putting customers and communities first, paired with a forward‑thinking and modern approach, will be hugely important as we navigate an evolving landscape for the sector.

“Colin’s experience as director of customer services at Barrhead Housing has provided him with a strong grounding in leadership, service delivery and collaborative working. We are delighted to welcome him to Dalmuir Park and look forward to the energy, insight and fresh perspective he will bring as we continue to build on the progress already made.”

Colin’s position at Barrhead Housing is now open for recruitment.
