The Scottish Housing Regulator’s work to deliver the Social Landlord Portal, Landlord Report and Comparison Tool was recognised this week winning two awards at the prestigious Holyrood’s 2015 Connect Awards.

The regulator won the Connect Citizen Award and the Connect Insight Award at the annual event which celebrates public sector excellence in information and communications technology (ICT). Its new systems make it easier for landlords to share information and let tenants and service users compare their landlord’s performance.

Michael Cameron, chief executive, said: “I’m delighted we have received this recognition. With our new systems we’ve been able to bring new, accessible and comparable performance information to tenants, service users and landlords and made it easier for landlords to share information with us.

“Winning these two Holyrood Connect Awards is recognition of that achievement. I would like to thank the social landlords, tenants and service users who helped us develop and refine our new systems.”

The Connect Citizen Award recognises projects and solutions which use ICT to engage with citizens and create citizen centred services. The Connect Insight Award recognises the most effective use of data and analytics to inform public service design.

The Landlord Report and Comparison Tool is available on the regulator’s website.
