Dr Fiona Simpson appointed as interim chief planner for Scottish Government

With the retirement of chief planner John McNairney and the recruitment process for John’s successor underway, the Scottish Government has moved to appoint Dr Fiona Simpson as interim chief planner until the position is filled on a permanent basis.

Dr Simpson has taken on that interim role with immediate effect.
