Following the close of formal business, a presentation was given to outgoing chair Cathie Fancy.

Brian Frater said on behalf of the board: “We want to thank Cathie Fancy for her three years as our chair, and for the previous years as a board member. Cathie has guided us through a very turbulent period following the Covid pandemic and we hope that she now goes on to enjoy a well-deserved rest and precious times with her grandchildren.”

Cathie thanked the board and gave special thanks to her mentor Dave Alexander who guided her in the beginning as chair of Eildon.

Cathie said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as chair which fell at such an important time, seeing Eildon grow in size and reach. I will greatly miss my Eildon Board colleagues and staff members, but I do look forward to having more quality time to spend with my family.”

At the board meeting following the AGM, the board agreed to co-opt Ms Emma Downie.
