Housing associations sign up for Scottish Construction Summit

Housing associations sign up to attend the Scottish Construction Summit, the inaugural event held by SHN’s sister publication Scottish Construction Now in Glasgow next month.

Delegates from Caledonian Housing Association, West of Scotland Housing Association and Kingdom Housing Association, as well as Scotland’s Housing Network, will join leaders from across the built environment to share ideas, explore solutions, and highlight the opportunities ahead.

SHN editor Kieran Findlay said: “It’s great to see housing associations attending this event, which will tackle many of the issues relevant to the social housing sector’s development aspirations head-on.

“With experts in digitalisation, sustainability and procurement on hand, we are excited by what the Scottish Construction Summit will have on offer to delegates.”

Mark Farmer, the author of an influential 2016 independent government review of the UK’s construction labour model entitled ‘Modernise or Die’, is the keynote speaker. He has over 30 years of experience in construction and real estate and is a recognised international commentator on a variety of industry and policy-related issues.
