Kingdom Housing Association is once again working closely with Police Scotland to beat crime and stay safe.

Kingdom Support and Care staff are currently attending a series of community safety events organised by Police Scotland at their James Bank Service in Dunfermline.

At the most recent event, area community safety officer PC Fraser Laird was on hand to offer advice on a wide range of crime-related matters.

Kingdom’s health and safety officer, Dave Roy, said: “This is the first of a series of safety talks we’ve rolled out across our Support and Care Service and this is a great opportunity for Police Scotland to put the safety message across to our staff.”

The Kingdom staff were given plenty advice and tips on personal safety which included keeping safe when they are out and about at work, using public transport, vehicle security along with advice on protecting their possessions.

Other general advice included how to avoid internet security scams and how to spot ATM machines which are fitted with skimmer devices.
