Mrs Hay lives in one of the Association’s retirement schemes and was visited by her housing officer and retirement manager who presented her with a large bouquet of flowers on behalf of Manor Estates to mark the occasion.

Delighted to receive the flowers from the Association, Mrs Hay said she “wished it was her birthday all the time with the treatment she has been receiving”.

Mrs Hay is a tenant at Manor Estates’ retirement housing development, one of three throughout Edinburgh, which offers independent living to tenants over 60.
