Glasgow-based multi-utilities provider Arc-Tech MU has commenced works at a new amenity housing development in Kilmarnock.

Witch Road/ Witchhill Place, located just outside of the town centre, will comprise 43 one and two-bedroom bungalows for affordable rent that are specially designed to support older, ambulant residents.

The development will be one of three that will be undertaken by the firm alongside main contractor CCG (Scotland) in East Ayrshire next year with each project led on behalf of East Ayrshire Council.

Gas, water and electrical services will form part of a works programme that will bring the project to completion in the latter stages of 2022.

Arc-Tech MU managing director, Josh Martin, said: “We are delighted to be supporting the delivery of a development that will provide much-needed affordable homes for older people in Kilmarnock. East Ayrshire Council has an ambitious housebuilding programme and we acknowledge the strong partnership that has been developed with the CCG Group over many years.
