The development, delivered in collaboration with South Lanarkshire Council, will offer a mixture of one- and two-bedroom flats, as well as two-bedroom mid-terraced and end-terraced homes, in a bid to address demand for affordable housing. 

Due to be completed early next year, the homes have been designed to address a variety of housing needs, with a number of the properties using features to boost accessibility for older residents and those with mobility issues. 

At present, timber kit frames have been built for the apartment block and roof works are well underway. Additionally, terraced homes have reached the stage of being fully roofed with windows installed. New footpaths have also been delivered along Reid Street.

JR Group recently donated equipment to Sparks Connection in Lanark, a community café charity that helps young neurodivergent people with building their confidence, independence and employability skills via barista training as well as customer service training.

Paint and decorating supplies have also been donated to the Veteran Community Hub in Craigneuk, to support renovation works and create an enhanced space for veterans as well as residents.
