Initially unveiled in June, the revised plans would deliver new private-for-sale homes, purpose-built student accommodation, enhanced community facilities and substantial new publicly accessible open space. The emerging vision would significantly increase public access to the site, creating new green spaces and amenities for local residents and visitors while securing its sustainable long-term future.

Designed to deliver lasting benefits for Woodlands, the proposals would provide opportunities for recreation, social interaction and community activity within a more open and accessible setting.

Members of the local community will now have the opportunity to view the updated proposals and provide feedback as part of the second round of public consultation.

The consultation event will take place on Wednesday 30 September 2026 at Burnbank Bowling Club (235 Woodlands Rd, Glasgow G3 6NN) between 2-7pm.

Full details of the revised proposals, including the opportunity to submit feedback, will also be available on the project website from 30 September.
