Scotland’s Housing Network completes Housing Options Toolkit modules

Scotland’s Housing Network has completed modules in a new Housing Options Toolkit.

Created in co-operation with the Housing hubs, the Steering Group and the Scottish Government, the modules will become live to all existing users on 28th March 2024.

To help with the launch, Leza Lafferty, learning development officer from Scotland’s Housing Network, will be carrying out some events to promote the online training and resource toolkit. These events will take place throughout Scotland and will be face-to-face and online.

Leza said she appreciates the milestone has been a long time coming.

She added: “I’m delighted that the toolkit is now complete. The first 3 modules were made live in 2022 and over 360 users have now completed all 3 modules so it’s great to now have the complete package for staff to continue their learning.”

The free events are aimed at local authority users who have never used the toolkit before and want to find out more, or users who have used the toolkit but would like to know more about the new modules. There will also be a chance to meet Leza and network with other colleagues.

You can book by contacting housingoptionstraining@scotlandshousingnetwork.org.
