Scottish Borders Council calls for public input on local development plan
Scottish Borders Council has launched a survey to gather information for the next Scottish Borders Local Development Plan.
SBC would like to capture experience from residents about the places they live, work, and spend time in the Scottish Borders, as well as asking what residents think should change in the future.
The survey ‘Tell Us About Your Local Place: Local Development Plan 3 Early Engagement Survey’, can be accessed through Scottish Borders Council online survey and consultation portal Citizen Space. The survey will be open until 30th September.
Members of the public will also be able to give their views through a number of in-person public engagement sessions being held over the next few weeks, these will be publicised on SBC social media platform.
The Local Development Plan is the council’s long-term plan for the area, setting out where development should and should not take place and helping guide future planning decisions.
