Govan Housing Group has announced that Roger Dulin, the organisation’s long‑standing group head of finance & corporate services, will step down from his role at the end of February after 26 years of service.
During more than two decades with the group, Roger has played a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s financial stewardship, strategic direction, and long‑term stability.
His contribution spans multiple leadership teams, governing body members, and supporting colleagues across the group, all of whom have benefited from his deep knowledge, integrity, and unwavering commitment to the communities Govan Housing Group serves.
Paying tribute to Roger, Caron Quinn, chief executive of Govan Housing Group, said: “Roger has been an integral part of Govan Housing Group for 26 years, and his impact cannot be overstated. His tenure has been marked by a consistent dedication to responsible financial management, thoughtful leadership, and a quiet but powerful influence on our culture.
“Colleagues across the organisation, and indeed across the wider sector, know him as a trusted voice of wisdom, honesty, and steady perspective. Those qualities have shaped not only our financial strength but the way we work together as a team.
“On a personal level, I have valued his honesty, his perspective, and the kindness he brings to every interaction. He is someone people trust, and that is one of the greatest legacies anyone can leave behind. While we will miss him greatly, we are deeply grateful for everything he has contributed and wish him every happiness in this next stage of his life.”
Recruitment for Roger’s successor will begin in due course.
