Share announces event with Scottish Housing Regulator

Share is excited to announce this landmark event - a key moment for the housing sector to hear directly from the team at the Scottish Housing Regulator (SHR) and explore vital regulatory themes shaping the future of social housing.
The event is taking place at the Leonardo Royal Hotel, 80 Jamica Street, Glasgow on 24th September 2025.
There will be a deep dive into the work of the regulator including annual assurance statements, notifiable events and case studies. Attendees will gain valuable insights into how the SHR approaches these topics and what this means for housing organisations in practice.
Helen Shaw, director of regulation at the Scottish Housing Regulator, said: “We are committed to being an open and transparent regulator and this event is a great opportunity for us to talk about our work and to also hear from Social Landlords about the challenges they face as social landlords.”
Attendees will have the chance to engage in open discussions, ask questions, and explore how these regulatory areas connect to everyday challenges. The event will also include time for networking over refreshments, allowing attendees to connect with peers from across the sector.
Daryl McIntosh, Share CEO, added: “I am delighted that Share is able to support this important event. Engaging directly with the Scottish Housing Regulator is vital for our sector. Opportunities like this to share experiences, ask questions and build relationships, understanding and trust are invaluable and we are proud to facilitate them.”
Share is dedicated to supporting the housing sector by providing opportunities for learning, collaboration, and dialogue. This event reflects Share’s commitment to facilitating conversations that help housing organisations navigate complex regulatory environments.
The event is open to all in the housing sector, with a fee of £25 per person to attend. Book your place by emailing events@share.org.uk or visiting Meet the Scottish Housing Regulator - Share.
