With new branding coming in early 2018, a new website by Easter and the beginning of work on new offices and 82 homes for rent in the summer, next year promises to be very exciting for Elderpark Housing Association.

Working alongside Seesaw Creative, the Association has created a short teaser trailer to showcase its new branding ahead of its official launch.

Elderpark decided to commission a rebranding and website redevelopment exercise earlier in the year as it looked to modernise certain aspects of the organisation and provide a more striking visual appearance.

The original brand had been in place since the organisation was created 42 years ago.

SeeSaw Creative was appointed following a tender process and held a series of workshops with staff and committee together with reviewing the local history and researching the organisation.

A range of potential designs were considered but the key themes that the Association wanted to be represented was the ship building heritage on the Clyde, the historical and cultural elements like Elder Park itself and the focus on the built environment.

Following a shortlisting exercise the final option was selected because it encompassed these aspects but more importantly showed a modern, vibrant brand which would be recognisable in the community and beyond.

Gary Dalziel, chief executive of Elderpark Housing Association, told Scottish Housing News: “Elderpark is delighted to be able to showcase our new brand which we feel communicates our future aspirations while at the same time recognising our strong history. This new design will formally be launched in early 2018 which will closely be followed by a new website and a whole host of other exciting projects aimed at enhancing our already excellent services and providing high quality homes to our residents.”
