Travis Perkins Managed Services extends partnership with R3 Repairs

Travis Perkins Managed Services has secured a six-year contract with R3 Repairs, which provides maintenance services to the housing association sector across South East Scotland.

Having worked together since 2010, the two organisations will continue the successful partnership and support the thousands of residents across the East Lothian area. Travis Perkins Managed Services will continue to supply R3 Repairs, which is part of East Lothian Housing Association Group, with materials for repairs, maintenance, and voids services.

As part of the agreement, Travis Perkins Managed Services will also introduce its TPgo Order platform, which will give R3 Repairs operatives increased visibility of products and means they can track what has been ordered, its availability and its status. Its introduction will see a reduction in paperwork and fewer wasted trips off-site.

Kevin Laverick, account manager for Travis Perkins Managed Services, said: “It’s great we can continue to build a trusted partnership with R3 Repairs by providing value for money, and procurement, and efficiency savings. We are delivering improvements through digital first solutions and have already mobilised solutions with the Travis Perkins Hire and Waste teams. We believe the partnership will help  deliver improved customer satisfaction and first-time fix rates for R3 tenants.”

Charlie Cooley, director of R3 and Asset Management, said: “R3 are delighted and proud to be continuing our strong partnership with Travis Perkins Managed Services. This long-term agreement will ensure we can continue to deliver quick, reliable services to all our customers. The partnership will provide several benefits, including cost savings and improved stock holdings. It will lead to reduced waiting times for materials, supporting clients’ tenants by improving service efficiency.”
