Trust Housing Association has retained their ‘Leaders in Diversity’ accreditation from the National Centre for Diversity.

Founded in 2005, the National Centre for Diversity is an organisation promoting equality, diversity and inclusion.

Rhona McLeod, Trust’s CEO, said: “We have been leading the housing sector on equality, diversity and inclusion for over ten years.

“We are committed to helping to create a more equal society which respects diversity and embeds inclusion. We aspire to lead the way in achieving this in everything we do and by influencing change and promoting equality in Scotland and further afield.”

As the first housing association in Scotland to achieve the national award of ‘Investors in Diversity’ and Trust then became the second organisation in Scotland to achieve ‘Leaders in Diversity’ accreditation in 2015. The association has also been awarded ‘Housing Provider of the Year’ and ranked in the top 100 most inclusive workplaces in the UK at last year’s National Centre for Diversity’s FREDIE awards.
