Warmworks goes Triple Platinum with Investors in People accreditation

Warmworks has won its prestigious Investors in People Platinum level accreditation for the third time.

The Investors in People (IiP) report highlighted that Warmworks had successfully retained its Platinum status during a period of significant growth, rising complexity and rapid scaling up within the organisation. The report concluded that maintaining this level of performance while more than doubling turnover and broadening impact clearly demonstrates a robust culture, strong leadership and deep alignment around purpose.

Warmworks successfully achieved the IiP We Invest in People accreditation at Platinum level on its very first assessment against the standard in 2019 – only the second organisation in Scotland ever to have been accredited to the highest level of award at the first time of asking.

The organisation secured re-accreditation to the same standard at the same level in 2022 and has now successfully renewed its Platinum-level accreditation for a further three years, marking its third consecutive assessment at this level. Only 7% of organisations achieve We Invest in People accreditation at Platinum level, placing Warmworks among the top-performing companies globally for its people management.

Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Warmworks. Platinum accreditation on We Invest in People is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and places Warmworks in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”

For Ross Armstrong, Warmworks’ chief executive, the accreditation underscores the organisation’s commitment to its people, values-driven culture and working environment.

“I am incredibly proud that we have retained our We Invest in People Platinum level accreditation for another three years,” he said. “This represents the third consecutive external assessment that has concluded by accrediting Warmworks at the highest possible level, which is a significant achievement.

“This endorsement is recognition of Warmworks’ unique culture and work environment and is testament to all we have achieved as a business since 2015. I’m hugely grateful to all our people for making it possible.”

Warmworks delivers a range of energy efficiency contracts across the UK, aimed at helping people to better manage their energy costs and improve the energy efficiency of their home. It has been the Managing Agent for the Scottish Government’s national fuel poverty scheme, Warmer Homes Scotland, since 2015.
