AI - uses, risks and governance for housing organisations

Who is it for and what is it about?

This course is designed for staff and governing body members who may be curious, but apprehensive, about the use of AI.

It will look at how AI is currently being used in the housing sector and how it could be used in the future. It will also look at the risks around AI and what organisations need to put in place to negate them.

Course Content

The purpose of this course is to look at the many uses of AI for staff, customers and governing body members. It will look at what is already happening and what the future could look like.

AI also comes with risks, these will be looked at in detail along with what governance needs to be put in place to negate these risks.

By the end of this course you will have an understanding of:

  • How AI is currently being used in Scottish Housing Associations.
  • How AI could be used in the future
  • The use of AI in housing management, finance, repairs and maintenance, and corporate uses
  • Practical examples of good practice.
  • The major risks of AI
  • How the use of AI could be managed through correct governance
