Building resilience for your team – caring for self, caring for others

Who is it for and what is it about?

This course comprises 2 sessions that have been designed for leaders and managers to build the skills and techniques that can help them to work well and support staff in challenging and sometimes stressful situations. It makes the links between Resilience and Emotional Intelligence and gives leaders space to reflect on their own strengths, influence and impact.

When you truly understand yourself only then you can understand how you affect others. Leaders will explore the relationship between optimistic thinking, positive environment and results. Using the PERMA model to improve wellbeing at work and to help others to flourish and be the best they can be and build resilient teams.

Course content

The 2 modules will be conducted virtually and will run for 2.5 hours. Sessions will be interactive, allowing leaders from different organisations to mix, collaborate and reflect together. There will be pre-work by way of self-diagnostics and video clips to watch. Leaders will make a commitment at the end of module 1 to put into practice. They will return to module 2 to discuss what worked and if it didn’t go to plan then what perhaps stopped it working as well as they would have liked and what would they do differently
