Minute taking: from preparation to publication

Who is it for and what is it about?

Taking responsibility for meetings and minute taking for the first time can feel daunting. How do you keep pace with discussion, decide what to record, and ensure sensitive information is handled appropriately without capturing every word? With the right preparation and clear understanding of your role, minute taking becomes far more manageable and professional.

This course provides a practical introduction to managing meetings and producing clear, accurate and effective minutes. It follows the full meeting cycle, from preparation and agenda setting to confidently capturing key discussions, decisions and actions, and producing minutes that meet professional and organisational standards.
