Save the Date: Scottish Construction Summit returns with major housing focus
Scottish Housing News is delighted to announce that the Scottish Construction Summit, hosted by our sister publication Scottish Construction Now, will return on Thursday 22 October 2026, bringing the industry together for its biggest and most ambitious programme yet.
Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, the 2026 Summit will expand significantly — relocating to the SEC in Glasgow and introducing a series of themed pavilions, including a major new highlight: a pavilion dedicated to social housing.
Designed as a dedicated hub for Scotland’s affordable housing sector, the Scottish Housing Pavilion will feature a curated programme of talks, panels, and presentations exploring the most urgent issues facing Scotland’s affordable housing landscape — from delivery pipelines and funding pressures to planning, decarbonisation and asset management.
And for the first time, the entire Summit will be completely FREE to attend, opening the doors to local authorities, RSLs, developers, contractors, architects, and policymakers for a full day of sector‑specific insight, innovation, and collaboration.
The Scottish Housing Pavilion is just one of several new additions to the expanded Scottish Construction Summit. The move to the SEC Glasgow allows for:
- A significantly expanded exhibition area
- Themed pavilions
- A larger, more diverse programme
- Greater capacity for attendees and exhibitors
- A fully free‑to‑attend format for all visitors
