We are seeking new Board Members who can bring fresh perspectives, strategic insight, and strong governance expertise to help shape our future.

The mission of The Kingdom Group is to provide ‘More Than a Home’ and we’re committed to delivering sustainable growth and positive impact across our communities. Kingdom Housing Association (KHA), provides affordable housing for social rent to meet a wide range of needs; Kingdom Support and Care (KSC) provides a full range of care and support services to help people to live independently in the community and Kingdom Initiatives (KI) is our non-charitable subsidiary delivering affordable property for mid-market rent and developing commercial projects.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in strategic finance, digital, risk management, asset management, corporate governance, the care sector or strategic leadership
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and Board responsibilities.
  • Ability to contribute to long-term vision, challenge constructively, and support effective decision-making.
  • Commitment to ethical leadership, diversity, and inclusion.

Positions on our Board are voluntary, but travel and other reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. By joining one of our Boards, you’ll play a key role in helping Kingdom to shape its goals. You can also build on your existing professional experience, develop new skills, expand your knowledge and grow your network.

Time commitment:

Our KHA Board holds at least six meetings per year on a Monday evening, with invites to other events, activities and training sent out to you as available.

Our KSC and KI Boards hold at least four meetings each per year on a Tuesday and a Thursday evening with invites to other events, activities and training sent out to you as available.

Location:

Board meetings are normally held in our Glenrothes Office. Hybrid meetings can be available via Microsoft Teams, but the default is in-person attendance where possible.
