Make a Real Difference in North Lanarkshire

North Lanarkshire Council is driving one of Scotland’s most ambitious regeneration programmes, transforming our town centres and communities to support inclusive economic growth. As part of this exciting journey, our Enterprise and Communities service plays a vital role in shaping sustainable development and creating opportunities for all.

We’re proud to be Scotland’s largest local authority social landlord, managing around 36,000 council homes. Our Housing service is at the heart of this transformation, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to join us in delivering high-quality, customer-focused housing services across our localities.

About the Role

Based in one of our locality offices, you’ll support residents within a designated patch, providing tailored housing solutions that promote secure, sustainable tenancies. You’ll work across key areas including homelessness, allocations, estate management, anti-social behaviour, and arrears recovery. You’ll also assess and deliver support packages that enhance residents’ wellbeing, life skills, and social opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll hold an SVQ Level 3 / HNC (SCQF Level 7) or equivalent in a relevant discipline, with experience in housing or customer service. Strong communication, IT, and report writing skills are essential, along with a commitment to customer care and supporting vulnerable individuals. Knowledge of housing legislation and practice is desirable.

Why Join Us?

If you’re driven by making a positive impact and want to be part of a team that’s transforming lives and communities, this is your opportunity. Placement on or progression to NLC9 requires extended experience in front-line housing services, CIH Level 4 Certificate in Housing, and demonstrated competence through our PRD Framework.

A current driving licence is essential, and you must be registered or eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
