Plans to demolish a former Edinburgh pub to make way for student accommodation have been given the green light. Designed by Flectcher Joseph Associates, the proposals will see the creation of 80 units at the site of the former Murrayfield Sports Bar in Gorgie.

Plans have been submitted to Edinburgh city council to knock down a pub in the city centre to create student flats.
