Housing minister Margaret Burgess The Scottish Rural Fuel Poverty Task Force is meeting for the first time in Inverness today, exploring the issues facing people from rural communities who are in fuel poverty.

Orkney Islands Council has invited the public to attend a drop-in session to view plans for a future housing development. The site is located on the outskirts of Kirkwall in Weyland, with proposals drawn up for the development of 46 homes over two phases.
