AI startup joins SFHA to support housing providers across Scotland
AI startup Wyser has joined the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) as a member, marking the next step in its work with housing organisations across the UK.
The move brings Wyser into SFHA’s network of housing associations, creating new opportunities to spend time closer to the challenges teams are dealing with day to day, from rising demand to the ongoing pressure on time and resource.
Wyser’s technology is designed to take some of that pressure away by capturing and structuring conversations automatically, it reduces the time spent writing up case notes and helps create clearer, more consistent records. In practice, that means teams can focus more of their time on the people in front of them, rather than the admin that follows.
For Wyser, joining SFHA is about being in the right conversations, understanding what’s actually happening on the ground and building technology that fits around it.
Mark Pearce, founder and CEO of Wyser, said: “We’ve spent a lot of time working with housing and advice services, and one thing is consistent – teams are stretched, and too much of their time is taken up with admin rather than the work that makes the biggest difference.
“Joining SFHA gives us the chance to listen properly, learn from members, and make sure what we’re building genuinely helps in the day-to-day. If we can give even a small amount of time back to frontline teams, that has a real impact.”
Alison Grady, business manager, SFHA, said: “We always strive to make sure that the associates we bring on board with SFHA add value for our members. We’re delighted to be able to offer more in the AI space, where we know there will only be increasing demand and interest.”
