West of Scotland Housing Association are reflecting on another year of making a meaningful, positive difference in the lives of tenants with the release of its latest Annual Charter Report.

The report details a constellation of positive results for the Association, including 92% of tenants expressing their satisfaction with their homes – well beyond the Scottish Housing Network average of 85.7%. The 2025/26 results position WSHA as one of the highest performing landlords in Scotland.

Following the Association’s 60th anniversary celebrations in 2025, in the past year WSHA have continued to deliver exemplary service to tenants and customers, despite the difficult economic and social climate, as cost of living, homelessness and housing emergencies continue to make their impact felt across the country.

Standout results include:

  • 92% of WSHA tenants report that they are happy with the quality of their homes
  • 91% of tenants tell us they’re satisfied with our repairs service
  • Overall customer satisfaction has increased to 91.8% from 87.9%
  • Tenant satisfaction with their neighbourhoods has increased to 90.38%
  • Despite pressures on everyone’s household bills, 92% of tenants said they agreed their rent was value for money

Beyond the numbers, feedback gathered from WSHA tenants over the past year reflect the overwhelmingly positive picture for the Association.

Miss Topping, a tenant from Moodiesburn, said: “I can’t thank you enough… It’s been the best year of mine and the girls’ life. We love it (our new house) and would not live anywhere else now… Having my family on my doorstep has been amazing for my mental and physical health.”

Woodlands tenant Mr Baird said: “From when we first met (our Housing Officer) you have been nothing but professional and helpful… You have gone above and beyond your duties in stressful times to reassure us that everything would be ok.”

“I would like to thank you for being the best Housing Association about,” added Ms Finnie from Law.

Speaking on the productive year, CEO Simon Fitzpatrick said: “Building from a strong foundation, it is incredibly rewarding to see our performance improve to levels that mark WSHA as one of Scotland’s top performing landlords. It is a testament to the commitment and hard work of all our employees across the Group, as well as the dedication and innovation of our Board. Our challenge next year is to go again and make even more of a difference to the lives of people in our neighbourhoods.”
